⚠️ Important: By purchasing and using HappyFridge Server, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app and contact Apple for a refund.
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of HappyFridge Server ("the App"), a macOS application developed by [Your Name/Company] ("we," "us," or "our").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. License Grant

AI Models (Qwen2-VL)
The AI models (Qwen2-VL 2B and 7B Instruct) are:
- Developed by Alibaba Cloud Qwen Team
- Licensed under Apache License 2.0
- Distributed via Hugging Face
- Subject to their respective licenses

4. Purchases & Refunds
One-Time Purchase
HappyFridge Server is available as a one-time purchase through the Mac App Store. All purchases are subject to Apple's Terms of Service.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple, not us. To request a refund:
- Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
- Sign in with your Apple ID
- Find HappyFridge Server in your purchase history
- Select "Report a Problem"
Apple's refund policy applies. We do not control or process refunds.
5. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle information.
Key Points:

AI Accuracy Disclaimer
The AI models may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading results.

- ⚠️ Consult qualified professionals for nutrition advice
- ⚠️ AI may misidentify foods or ingredients

7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

MAXIMUM LIABILITY: Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (the purchase price).
8. System Requirements
The App requires:
- macOS 14.0 or later
- Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3) or Intel processor
- 5-10 GB free disk space (for AI models)
- Internet connection (for initial model download)
- HappyFridge AI iOS app (companion app required)
Performance Note: Apple Silicon Macs (M1+) provide significantly better performance. Intel Macs may experience slower processing.
9. Third-Party Services
Hugging Face
The App downloads AI models from Hugging Face. This is subject to:

10. Updates & Modifications
We may:
- Release updates, bug fixes, or new features
- Modify or discontinue features at any time
- Update these Terms (with notice)
Updates are provided through the Mac App Store. You can disable automatic updates in System Settings, but we recommend keeping the App updated for security and performance.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your Mac.
We may terminate your license if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:
- You must stop using the App
- You must delete all copies of the App
- Downloaded AI models should be deleted
12. No Medical or Professional Advice

The App is for informational and entertainment purposes only:

- ❌ Not for commercial food safety inspections

13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
